State of the Scribe: August 2025

Hey pones!

Gotta be quick with this one, typing it up while on a brief break between shifts here at gencon. Always end up working the gaming convention with my dayjob, and that means not a ton of time for other stuff. I’ll hit the highlights, and share more next week when I have more to talk about. I spent most of last month on vacation in Japan, so there wasn’t much time for extra writing or new stories. No one wants to hear about my vacation I’m sure, so here’s a photo that a friend took while we visited Mt Fuji. Lucky Ray is way better with his amazing camera than I am with my stupid phone, so…

That means there’s no new launches this month. Still progressing through the three monthly stories, along with weekly non-pony adventures. The only (almost) weekly story I’ve got going for pony stuff is Quarantine, the ongoing vote-driven story. Jump in with us there if you’d like to shape the outcome of that adventure.

Also, the third book in the Children of the Sky series (don’t ask why the first entry didn’t get highlighted, I had to make my calendar in ten minutes on a tablet real quick haha >.>) There’s also a minific launching this month, so that’s the second month in a row someone actually got that tier!

Thanks so much for the continued support. I know I’m doing more pokemon than pony at this point–but I’m still grateful for everyone who chooses to help me keep writing these. I know the day is on its way where I won’t be doing pony anymore–but not until I’ve finished everything I’ve been writing. There will be no sudden vanishing to leave work undone. I care about my work, and that means not leaving anyone hanging.
