Hey Bronies and Brosophs, time for another monthly update from Starscribe. If you’re looking at that calendar and feeling a little intimidated, maybe you know how I felt last month writing it all. Tons of news and stuff to get to, so let’s get to the figures. [Image unavailable: original image] Scheduled Chapters: 27Scheduled Words: ~86,000 First thing you might notice about the calendar…

Short Version: Look for my newest novel, The Last Pony On Earth, coming to Fimfiction this Saturday! It will update daily. That is not a typo. Long Version: I know I just finished something, and I usually take a longer break between posting new stories. The smart thing to do would’ve been to write very little or not at all this summer so I…

Hey everypony! I just thought I’d take a moment to announce the sequel to Last Pony on Earth, Founders of Alexandria! I guess I probably should’ve made this blog post sooner, because it’s coming tomorrow morning. Founders of Alexandria will update every weekday, meaning no updates Saturday or Sunday. This story follows each of the first six ponies in the little settlement of Alexandria,…

Hey everypeoples who still look at these. Not that there were every too terribly many. I just wanted to let everybody who follows “My Little Apprentice” that it’s sequel, “Harmony Defended” is now posted and can be read here. I promise to pour every bit of love and effort I put into MLA into this new adventure.

First thing’s first, check out this awesome picture Zutcha did of James! Now maybe people won’t think that she’s a clone of Lightning Dust. I put it into the story too, but that won’t stop any past misunderstandings from having been made. Holy crap, what a week. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a story get so much attention, paticularly one that had just…

For those who read the original version of chapter 4 today, just a heads-up that I’ve added a new scene to the chapter. Many readers mistook what was happening or were confused. Rather than letting people be confused and upset for a whole week, I’ve added an additional scene to the chapter that was meant for publication next week. Hopefully it will clear up…

So apparently you aren’t actually allowed to write a blog entry without posting it. I suppose I write these so infrequently that I wouldn’t remember a detail like this. Regardless, here’s another entry into the pages that I don’t expect anyone to actually read. For those of you interested in the behind-the-scenes for My Little Apprentice, you’re in the right place. If you’re not…

First entry, yay! I thought I would write up some of my thoughts on the creation of “My Little Apprentice”, since I didn’t think they the coherent presentation of those thoughts have any baring on the story I’m trying to tell, and thus don’t belong in the author’s notes as anything more than a URL pointing to this location. I apologize in advance for…

Hey everypony, quick update on the Message in a Bottle print run campaign! About three hours after the project was announced, it was fully funded, how awesome is that? This means that anyone was worried about signing onto a project that might not happen can now get involved, if it was the sort of project you were interested in. I’ve already begun work into…

Hey Pones, just wanting to signal boost one last time for the pony to human story contest a friend of mine is running. This thing has a massive prize pool, and right now more potential winners than current entries. Unless something changes, anyone who enters is pretty much guaranteed to win something. So hey, if you want to write a little story about what…
