You know what they say about the best laid plans? I’ll be real brief with this update, for reasons that will be self-evident. Last month didn’t quite go the way I wanted, turns out I have several large kidney stones. Been working my way through them over the second half of March, and still dealing with them today. Fortunately I’ve got the backlog of…

Hey pones, had ourselves an amazing last month, and this next one promises to be equally exciting! The biggest news is of course the Friendship is Optimal Anthology: Recursive Iterations. I started an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for the book, and that campaign has already reached its goal! That means that as soon as funding is disbursed to me–approximately the middle of august–the…

Hey, so remember when I said I was going to start sharing my lore articles? Here’s the first one from this month. Several stories I’m writing now deal with batponies, which I’ve always interpreted as having a weaker version of the powers that Luna herself manifests in the show. Dreamlands required a detailed breakdown and set of rules for the unconscious world. Forbidden Places…

[Image unavailable: original image] Hey everybody, got our update for the month of October, as well as a little retrospective into some of the important stuff that happened in September. Let’s jump in. So, this last month was pretty exciting in one obvious way: the Last Pony on Earth books shipped! Here’s some pictures I took during that process.  [Image unavailable: original image] [Image…

Hey pones, quick update here with a new story: Friendship Abroad. A somewhat lighthearted ponies-on-earth story with a bit of a different setting than I’m used to. But I love the young six as characters, and I’m looking forward to writing about them more in the next few months. If you like ponies on earth, you should check this one out!

Same Biz as last time. One hour to write, had to stop when it ended. Concept was fleshed out in the PaP Discord late at night when I had another fresh idea. This will not be a daily thing. This one was written to this video. A pattern may be forming here. As before, this one won’t be edited. It’s just about getting as…

Hey pones! Gotta be quick with this one, typing it up while on a brief break between shifts here at gencon. Always end up working the gaming convention with my dayjob, and that means not a ton of time for other stuff. I’ll hit the highlights, and share more next week when I have more to talk about. I spent most of last month…

Hey pones, hope your summer is going great! Assuming that’s what time it is where you’re at, of course. Back from my vacation this month–that meant a lot of work to catch up on, lots of stories to write and moving (twice, X.x). Things should be settling down a little for me over the coming weeks, though my next one will be pretty crazy.…

https://www.fimfiction.net/story/509851/return-to-sender Over two years have passed since this story was first conceived. Now at long last, I’m proud to present to you the sequel to Message in a Bottle. This story is the child of a few questions. First: what would a pony/human cooperative look like after a generation? Second: what would the incredibly possessive, borderline biblical Harmony AI do if someone actually managed…

Hey pones, got some good news for once in this dreadful year. We faced some delays getting our hands on the art, and with printing of the Through the Aurora hardcover. But the misery is over now, the artists are finished, and I have this awesome book in my hands! Now that I’ve confirmed the quality of the print (the illustrations look great, check…
