Abigail wakes after a devastating bus crash, trapped inside a strange body she doesn’t recognize. Her friends are missing, her surroundings unfamiliar, and the scattered evidence of transformation around her defies explanation.

First she has to find her friends. After that, a way home.

Written for the 10th anniversary of the release of Last Pony on Earth. Does not require information from that series, since the protagonists are as ignorant as any new reader.
