State of the Scribe: May 2026

Hey pones! Sorry about the delay for a day, I know I normally like these to get these out on the first. But the chaos of my real life is still all-consuming, stopping me from getting things done quite as frequently as I would’ve liked. When it rains, it pours, as they say.

No new changes here, other than I’ve got the time to really dig into the scheduling bots and get things going at the normal speed. Still hunting for a cover for the Rome story. But I’m hearing that my magical girls series will get its cover soon. If that happens… I’m excited! I’ve been waiting for ages to get that book out. The whole trilogy is edited and ready to print, but some artists are sooooo slow.

Sucks to have things outside my control.

Either way, thanks for the ongoing support. I’m still writing a ton, still working on other projects too. That audiobook creator is a lot further along. I just haven’t decided which larger book I’d like to share first.

Anyway, that’s it for this month. Hopefully I’ve got more interesting news next month now that the dust has settled.

It’s an anthro world, though you’ll find plenty of my usual hallmarks (like TF), ancient technology, human influence, etc. I’m hoping to see it work as a series, it’s one of those worlds that has so much going on it could sustain several books with ease. He becomes strange creatures, though his travels soon lead him to creatures he fears to leave behind.
