State of the Scribe: October 2025

Sorry this is so late. I normally remember to cross post these off my patreon, but it must’ve slipped my mind this month. Let’s get that problem corrected.

Another month comes, and another month goes. I’ll be brief this month, since there’s nothing too radical happening. Some stories end, making way for a new one. I’m currently working on a redwall-adjacent furry tale that will probably take the place of the Celebi story, now that we’re done with pokemon. But I’m putting in a lot more heft into the initial edit, so it might be a minute before I can get it up.

The more people you involve in a project, the more complexity and points of failure there are. Yeah, I’m hoping the prose hits a lot harder when it comes out. But it will take me longer to get to that point.

No new stories this month, other than the ongoing releases. Thanks to everyone who checked out my new original story last month! It was a blast to write that little series. I’ll probably take some time before I come back to it, try something a little more commercial next. Though it was a ton of fun, and I’m sitting on book 4–it ended up being pretty expensive to get out. Hence the redwall-esque story, I think there’s a pretty large audience interested in anthro fiction. We’ll see how that goes. And I’d love to get that magical girls book out…

Still, there are pony stories to tell, against all odds. So I’ll keep the lights on a little longer.
